Wonderful stone litho printing shows off the wide range of colours for what was of course a film made in black and white. The young jockey played by Jeremy Spenser achieves many winners but can be seen here been admonished by fellow jockeys because of his cruelty to the horses hence the title "Devil on Horseback".
