Minimal bleeding occasionally occurs with the first wash or two. Please wash separately the first time. I recommend that you hand wash all hand knits to ensure longevity. Wash in water that is room temperature using a detergent specifically for wool such as Eucalan or Soak. Hand made wool wash or woolite is not recommended as some of the chemicals can break dye
